You are ready to make money online. The moolah is going to come pouring in. Or is it?
Hello???? Wake up to the big bad world of internet marketing. There are a zillion websites out there in cyber space.
Sad to say you, are just another dotcom or dot whatever out there fighting your way for survival. A small fish in a big big hungry ocean. An ocean which could eat you up even before you began to swim.
If you are serious about staying alive and surviving online, you have to think of all the ways possible to market your website online.
You just cannot afford to stick to just one method of marketing.
No way! In today’s battle struck, survival of the fittest, it’s a jungle out there life on the world wide web, if you want to make money online, you just have to use every possible trick in the internet marketing book (and out of it!), if you really want your online business to grow.
Merely laying your hands on a website and putting it on the internet in the hope that it will rake in a fortune for you is just not going to work for you. So if you think it is, wake up from your dream
There are many ways of marketing your online business nowadays. One is a free method, called organic marketing and the other is direct marketing, a method which could prove (if it already hasn’t!) too costly to you.
Google AdSense or AdWords are a couple of the major Direct Marketing techniques used to promote websites. But you need to have a lot of money to do that. And if anyone tells you else wise, they are just trying to con you.
Very important to note here is that, if you do not know how to use Google AdSense or AdWords, you will definitely end up spending more than your website will bring in. That’s the way both of these programs work.
So where does that leave you with your marketing strategy for your website? How are you going to get people to see your online business?
The secret lies in you using organic methods – in other words free marketing or BUM marketing as it is called in the arena of internet marketing.
BUM marketing is the method most people working from home and making money on the internet use to make money online by marketing their website.
One of the most prominent ways to get visitors to your site is the one I am using write now. It is called Article Writing. A few other ways are … Social networking using websites like MySpace, Facebook, Squidoo. Blogging. Forums. Etc.
While these are the main ways of getting people to see your website, there are many many more ways too.
What is the purpose for doing all this you say? Your aim should be to get the name of your website all over the internet.
